National Equine Centre

ChildVision are delighted to announce that a much-needed new indoor equine therapeutic centre, named in memory of Jack de Bromhead, is underway thanks to the generous donations from a group of family and friends of the de Bromhead family.

Building work commenced in December 2024, and we are excited to share that the official launch of the new centre will take place in September 2025.

The new indoor facility at the ChildVision campus will provide children who are blind, multi-disabled, and neurodiverse access to world-class equine activities in a supportive, purpose-designed environment. It will also allow the ChildVision equine team and volunteers to extend their services — reaching more children over more hours, and making a life-changing difference, especially during the winter months and in poor weather conditions.

Spearheaded by de Bromhead family friend and well-known racehorse owner Chris Jones, and with the blessing of Heather and Henry, the €1,000,000 donation target required to complete the equine therapeutic centre has been successfully reached.

We are so grateful to all who have contributed to making this transformative project possible.
