Erasmus+

ChildVision is proud to receive support through Erasmus+, the European Union’s programme for education, training, youth and sport. Erasmus+ provides funding to organisations across Europe to create opportunities for learning, skills development, inclusion, collaboration and personal growth.

Through Erasmus+ funding, ChildVision can further enhance opportunities for young people who are blind or vision impaired, supporting innovative programmes, professional development, international collaboration and the sharing of best practices. The programme promotes inclusion, participation and equal access to learning opportunities for all, values that closely align with ChildVision’s mission.

Erasmus+ supports organisations in building partnerships and exchanging knowledge across borders, helping to improve services and create meaningful experiences for participants. By engaging with the Erasmus+ network, ChildVision has learned from and contributed to a wider European community committed to empowering young people and removing barriers to participation.

We are grateful for the support provided through Erasmus+, which helps us continue developing programmes that foster independence, confidence, skills and opportunities for the young people we serve.

Our Erasmus+ Activities

ChildVision is involved in two key areas of the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 1 (KA1) and Key Action 2 (KA2). While KA1 focuses on opportunities for people to learn, train and exchange experience internationally, KA2 supports organisations working together across borders to share expertise and develop new approaches.

KA1: Learning Mobility

KA1 supports opportunities for learners and staff to gain knowledge and experience through international mobility. At ChildVision, this gives us opportunities to connect with professionals and organisations across Europe, share expertise and bring new ideas and learning into our work with children and young people who are blind or vision impaired.

Visits to ChildVision

ChildVision welcomes professionals and organisations from across Europe to visit our campus, learn about our services and exchange knowledge with our teams. These visits give us an opportunity to share our expertise while learning from the experience and approaches of colleagues working in other countries.

KA2: Cooperation & Partnerships

KA2 focuses on cooperation between organisations across Europe. Through collaborative projects and partnerships, organisations can exchange expertise, develop innovative practices and work together to improve education, training and inclusion. ChildVision’s involvement enables us to contribute our specialist knowledge while learning from partners across Europe.

ENVITER

ChildVision is a member of ENVITER, the European Network for Vision Impairment Training, Education & Research, a network of organisations working in the field of visual impairment across Europe. Through ENVITER, members share knowledge, expertise and best practice, collaborate on European projects and work together to improve education, training and services for people who are blind or vision impaired.
