ChildVision respects the rights of users of our Site and is committed

(also referred to as personal data) about you on this Site without
your permission or otherwise in accordance with Data Protection

YOUR DATA

ChildVision collects data on those who come into contact with the organisation
through our fundraising or work. The purposes of processing data include the
collection and management of donations, operations of our development work,
monitoring and evaluation of our work, the recruitment, management and payment of
staff, ensuring security of staff and premises, and compliance with statutory
obligations. ChildVision also contracts other companies to act as data processors for
the personal data collected by ChildVision. We only do so in full compliance with
data protection rules set out in the relevant Irish and EU legislation. 

ChildVision will only process personal data in line with one of the lawful basis
enshrined in Article 7 of the GDPR. 

ChildVision takes seriously its security obligations in respect of your personal data
and we have put systems in place designed to prevent unauthorised access to, or
alteration or destruction of personal data in our possession. 

YOUR RIGHTS

When you share your data with us you have certain rights. You have to right to:

  • Be informed of how, for how long and for what purpose your data is being processed
  • Access to a copy of your data
  • To have inaccurate data rectified
  • To be forgotten (have your data deleted)
