ChildVision to Launch this year’s Toy Show Appeal on The Late Late Show

We’re delighted to share some truly exciting news with our ChildVision community. Building on the incredible momentum of our newly opened Equine Centre, ChildVision has been invited to officially kick off this year’s Toy Show Appeal on The Late Late Show.

This special moment will take place on 28 November, when the nation tunes in to one of Ireland’s most beloved programmes. Joining host Patrick Kielty will be Rachael Blackmore, former National Hunt jockey, friend and support of  ChildVision, and close friend of the de Bromhead family. Rachael will be speaking about ChildVision and the life-changing services we provide for children with visual impairment and complex needs.

Rachael will be accompanied by one of the wonderful families at the heart of our community. Croia, who has been with ChildVision since she was just eight months old, will appear alongside her mum, Cara, to share her inspiring journey. Croia has benefitted from a range of our supports including nursing and clinical therapies, equine-assisted activities, and Early Years education. Their story reflects the dedication, expertise, and compassion that drive ChildVision’s mission every single day.

We are honoured to have this national platform to shine a spotlight on the transformative work happening across our organisation: work made possible by the commitment of our staff, supporters, and wider community.
